TFS to TFS Migration Tool preview disponibile su CodePlex

For those people interested in the Migration and Sync Toolkit or for people that just want to be able to move source code and work items between TFS servers/projects, check out the TFS to TFS Migration Tool.  Currently, it is available only as a prerelease while we continue to test with customers.  You can learn more on the CodePlex project page:...

Parole sante!

Any time you do something new, there's a period of learning all of the things that can go wrong.  We make mistakes just like anyone else.  It's just that when we make them, it affects a lot of people.  We're mindful of that and try to be extremely careful but none-the-less occasionally things get through.  I hope the various mitigations we've described prevents this from being too big of an issue for you.  Fonte: Final word...

Digital Identity for .NET Applications: A Technology Overview

The .NET world provides several technologies that developers can use in this area, but figuring out what each one does and how they fit together can be challenging. ...Available here, the technologies it describes include ADFS, Windows Cardspace, and several more.Handling identity well should be a fundamental competence for anybody who creates .NET applications.

Un tip molto utile: ...There is a way around this.  Windows (XP/Vista/2003) has a feature that allows you to store a "network credential" in the OS for servers you access.  You type in the server name, your username, and your password and then you never have to type it in again... YouTube: The Big Copyright Lie

It's perhaps the ultimate case of cognitive dissonance: by YouTube's own rules, YouTube cannot exist. And yet it does. How do we reconcile YouTube's official hard-line position on copyright with the reality that 90% of the content on their site is clearly copyrighted and clearly used without permission? It seems YouTube has an awfully convenient "don't ask, don't tell"...
