CMMI Area Coverage di MSF for CMMI Process Improvement

I attended the VSTS for Everyone pre-conference workshop at VSLive! on Sunday, which Richard Hale Shaw and Martin Shoemaker presented. During the day, a fellow attendee asked about parity between MSF for CMMI Process Improvement and CMMI Level 3 process area coverage. I put the query to David Anderson and he pointed out that MSF for CMMI Process Improvement covers everything but the following five process areas (of 25 possible):

  • SAM (Supplier Agreement Management – Level 2)
  • ISM (Integrated Supplier Management – Level 3)
  • OPF (Organizational Process Focus – Level 3)
  • OT (Organizational Training – Level 3)
  • OEI (Organizational Environment for Integration – Level 3)
